We are so thankful to say that we received a green light from Doc today! Praise the Lord!
Surfer and I went in today for a follow-up appointment with Doc to discuss the IVF process in detail - and it turned out that it was the perfect day to actually begin the cycle: this was not planned, but a Providential arrangement of all the factors. We were most concerned about the number of embryos we are hoping to end up with to transfer, as we aren't considering freezing or letting unused embryos die as options at all. That conversation went very well with Doc, and he was very supportive of our religious and ethical beliefs on this.
The clinic is extremely helpful and on the ball, and the nice thing is that now that the IVF cycle has commenced, we are able to sit back, relax (as much as possible) and enjoy the ride (and do as we're told).
My goals are to 1) give Surfer lots of hugs and kisses through this stressful time 2) to take it as easy as possible and not add stress to our schedule 3) to take things truly day by day. Here we gooooooooooo!
Day One: Begin birth control pills
