On the right path

Surfer and I were talking today about the fact that we both feel like we're on the right path. Neither of us have a certainty-of-outcome feeling, but we both see that God is leading us, and truly going before us.

A few examples: I will need to have a few days off for egg retrieval and transfer, and it just so happens that those are the days that my boss will be out of town anyway. IVF is VERY costly, and yet God knew we'd need to go through it - so he provided ahead of time a wonderful insurance plan through Surfer's work that will cover the majority of the costs for the procedure and medication. It really hit me just how thankful we are for that insurance when I got the call that my medication was being shipped yesterday: the total cost was about $2,850 (gulp!)... but our co-pay total is $254.70! I almost cried with thankfulness for God's provision in this situation.

Thank you, Lord, for your provision. Thank you for a wonderful clinic, a qualified and caring doctor, insurance to cover most costs, extra income to cover the rest, time to rest and absorb what's going on without feeling rushed or overwhelmed; peace in our marriage through this, amazing parents and brothers who love us so, and encouraging friends. We couldn't be more grateful!
