We have our eight-week ultrasound on Thursday - I'm so eager to take another look in there to make sure our little ones are still growing healthy and strong!
I think that they are, though - as they are certainly demanding a lot from me these days. First: food. It's amazing how much two babies who are less than an inch long want to eat! If I don't consume something every hour, my body starts to crash! It is a great sign, though, that they're growing and needing fuel to build those little bodies!
Second: energy. I sleep nearly 9 hours each night, usually take an afternoon nap, and still I'm exhausted during the day. Our babies must be playing pretty hard in there to take up so much of my zestiness!
Third: sanity. I regularly forget thoughts mid-sentence, tasks, questions - I even left my keys in my car door the other day and thankfully the Lord had angels watching out for us and sent some helpful young men our way to return the keys instead of steal the car! I think the babies' brains are developing this week, though, and it makes sense that they need my brain power.
Fourth: I just forgot it, seriously. See number three.
Fifth: Now that they've developed little legs, I'm sure they're pushing on the walls of their current home trying to get more room - and they're succeeding! I can feel the stretching and am so glad for another sign of growth.
What a great adventure we've been blessed to be able to begin!

Yup, it's not a matter of if, but when leaving keys in/on the car happens in pregnancy. :) Good signs!!
